Message from the Congress President
Dr. Hasan Morovati
Congress President
|
It is a great pleasure and an honor to serve as the Chair of the 1st International Congress of Vaccine and Vaccination (ICVV), an event dedicated to bringing together scientists, researchers, experts, policymakers, and professionals from the vaccine industry from Iran and around the world.
Today, the field of vaccines stands at a critical point where scientific and technological advances, alongside the emergence and re-emergence of infectious diseases and the growing need for pandemic preparedness, present both new opportunities and responsibilities for the scientific community. The development of innovative technologies, strengthening manufacturing capabilities, equitable access, and maintaining public trust are challenges that can no longer be addressed independently or within the boundaries of a single discipline.
Against this background, ICVV provides a platform to examine these issues from scientific, technological, industrial, and policy perspectives—from research and innovation through development, manufacturing, regulation, and access. Within this framework, the One Health approach holds a central position, recognizing the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health and the need for collaboration across disciplines and sectors.
I hope that this Congress will not only showcase the latest scientific and technological advances, but also foster meaningful professional connections and new collaborations among universities, research institutions, industry, and policymakers. In doing so, we aim to contribute to a more coordinated and forward-looking approach to the development and advancement of vaccine and immunization systems.
I warmly invite scientists, researchers, experts, policymakers, and vaccine industry professionals to join us at the 1st International Congress of Vaccine and Vaccination. Your presence and active participation will be an important part of creating a meaningful and substantive dialogue on the future of vaccines and immunization.

In a world where human, animal, and environmental health are more interconnected than ever before, a safe, sustainable, and equitable future can only be achieved through science, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The 1st International Congress of Vaccine and Vaccination, with its focus on the One Health approach and the application of emerging technologies such as systems vaccinology, artificial intelligence, data science, and innovative vaccine platforms, provides a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge and presenting practical solutions.
This Congress offers an opportunity to discuss emerging diseases, preparedness for future pandemics, advanced manufacturing technologies, international collaboration, and equity in access to vaccines.
ICVV is not merely a venue for exchanging knowledge; it is also an invitation to reconsider the vaccine ecosystem from research and development to manufacturing, regulation, public acceptance, and equitable access. I hope your participation will contribute to scientific synergy and effective cooperation at both national and international levels.
