About the Session Series

Vaccines are not merely health products; they are strategic components of national, economic, and biological security. The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated that technology and manufacturing infrastructure alone, without a coordinated network of stakeholders, are insufficient for a rapid and effective response.

This session series is designed to build capacity, foster a collaborative culture, and establish a shared understanding among key stakeholders in Iran's vaccine ecosystem. The sessions provide a platform for sharing experience, examining challenges, and proposing practical solutions for the development of the national vaccine ecosystem.

Session 1
The Systems Approach
Introducing systems thinking in contrast to linear and project-based approaches, understanding the need to analyze the broader environment beyond a single organization in the vaccine industry, and introducing the ecosystem concept and its role in vaccine development in Iran.
