Celebrating Livestock Farmers’ Day | December 15
December 15, Livestock Farmers’ Day, is an opportunity to honor the dedicated efforts of those working in the livestock sector—professionals who play a vital role in ensuring food security, public health, and the sustainability of animal protein production systems.
As frontline producers, livestock farmers continuously face challenges such as animal diseases, economic fluctuations, climate change, and strict biosecurity requirements. In this context, knowledge enhancement, effective vaccination programs, strengthened surveillance systems, and close collaboration with scientific and research institutions are essential for maintaining animal health and improving productivity.
The 1st International Congress of Vaccine and Vaccination (ICVV 2026), with a strong emphasis on the “One Health” approach, highlights the inseparable link between animal health, human health, and the environment, recognizing livestock farmers as key stakeholders within this integrated ecosystem.
- On this occasion, we extend our sincere appreciation to all livestock farmers for their invaluable contributions to animal health, quality production, and the protection of public health.
